Vintage Mikimoto necklace Akoya Cultured PEARL Necklace-Graduated Pearls

This is a vintage choker of Japanese Akoya salt-water cultured pearls from Mikimoto.

This necklace of baby pearls is very difficult to find them these days. Today there is a large demand for baby pearls in Japan.

The pearls on this necklace have excellent luster, excellent surface quality, and excellent nacre quality.

The silver clasp is stamped with an “SIL” (silver) and the Mikimoto logo (“M” in an Akoya oyster design).
